About Montessori Merrylands Childcare
Montessori Merrylands Childcare is fully committed to providing excellence in early childhood care. We hope to foster a sense of safety, security, and nurturing for your child and create a positive environment to best facilitate their education. By encouraging open learning we aim to promote each child’s social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive development. Our goal is to encourage children to realise their potential and discover a love of life-long learning. We recognise that the first six years of life are greatly formative and are honoured to be a part of your child’s journey.
At Montessori Merrylands Childcare, we believe that a child’s early years are their most influential. It is within these years that a child develops the foundation skills and abilities that will carry them through life. Our role is crucial in fostering and facilitating your child’s development in these years.
Our philosophy is ‘open learning and open doors’. We encourage all children to explore their curiosity, creativity and skills openly - to ask questions and explore. And we encourage parents to participate in this - our Open Door Policy means you are welcome to visit and participate at any time. So please do!

⸻ I am currently completing my childcare placement at Montessori Merrylands, and I am having a very positive experience. The centre provides a warm, welcoming, and well-organised environment that is ideal for learning and professional development. All the staff members, including the supervisors, room leaders, and educators, are incredibly kind, supportive, and approachable. They are always willing to guide me and take the time to explain every task thoroughly. I have never felt hesitant to ask questions, as everyone is open, patient, and generous with their knowledge. The educators demonstrate excellent care and attention towards the children, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere at all times. I am learning a great deal from their professional practices, and I feel very grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dedicated and inspiring team. Overall, Montessori Merrylands has been a wonderful place for my placement, and I truly appreciate the support and learning I am receiving here.

This centre has an amazing staff which truly cares for children and their development. There are lots of activities everyday, something new to look forward to for children and spend time here learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
