I'm a first time Mum, what means that everything is completely new for us. And unfortunately, we decided to enrolled our daughter in this childcare after attended the tour and so far everything seemed fine. But it wasn't until the moment that you take the decision of enrolment when all the $ started to come up. Is not until you mentioned that you have to pay in the moment over the phone an enrolment fee of $200 that's just to start, not giving you any chance to even question what are these fee for and how that works, the said that the spot was about to be taken so if I didn't pay the fee right there I would lose the spot. So even when my financial condition it's really bad at the moment I was able to lend money from a friend who was in that moment with me. Anyways, I was told that I will receive an email with the enrolment form asap, but after three days nothing came into my email, I had to call them back and asked what is with the form and they didn't have much answer for the delay but they would send it to me "again" (when they didn't before) and if I don't fill it out until first thing in the next morning I would lose my spot (so now they were in a rush for me to fill out the form when they missed 3 days without send it to me). Continuing with this terrible experience, I sent the form and the first thing I received once submitted it was an invoice to be paid for $405 (for the three days that my daughter will attend) and I was like what? I couldn't get any proper answer for this charge beside that we were in Thursday noon (my daughter supposed to start Monday) and I didn't receive any call or email in regards with the orientation day. It wasn't until I called them they booked us for a last minute orientation day for the next morning, but when it about money they contact with you straight away. All the excitement now was completely gone, we're through one of our toughest time financially as a family and it for that reason that we were giving the maximum of help from government, 90% + 100 hours fortnightly, so is not just that I'm complaining for no reason. It was Friday morning and we were still not sure about the $405 charge and no one was able to provided us a good reason of. Calling different childcare no one take money before you even started, and when I received the centrelink confirmation message for the subsidy, I found out that they put as if my daughter has already started, so that is why they were charging me a week already. At that point I just felt that I was trusting my daughter to an institution where they were worried about the money more than the importance for us as a family to start this new stage in our life. So completely disappointed, we cancelled everything with them but this didn't stop there, because on Friday night I was charge the $405 without hesitation and after i've cancelled everything already. As you see a new process in your parenthood life is very important for any parents it's has turned into a fight for them to stop taking money from my account (leaving a negative balance). So please before to sign anything with them be careful.
