About Mernda YMCA Early Learning Centre
Welcome to Mernda YMCA Early Learning Centre, our early learning programs give your child a great start to life.
The YMCA has provided care for young people across Australia for over 20 years and has industry-leading safeguarding polices in place; so, you can be assured that your child will be cared for in a safe environment.
Our passionate and experienced educatres are committed to reaching your child's potential and our programs encourage children to be curious, confident and independent thinkers, who love learning and improving their capabilities.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to supporting children and families and we achieve this by creating strong relationships with parents, guardians and communities.
Our Early Learning Programs include:
- Nappies and linen
- Healthy meals and snacks throughout the day prepared by our experienced On-site Chef
- Shaded outdoor play areas (sunscreen is provided for all children)
- All rooms open to an outdoor play space, allowing children to explore freely and connect with their environment
- Long opening hours - 6:30am to 6:30pm
- Regular excursions
- Weekly incursions including STEM, dance, yoga and Mandarin
- Funded three and four-year-old Kinder Programs
Our centre is located on the grounds of Mernda Park Primary School, which gives us unique opportunities to develop school-readiness. It also offers parents a convenient one drop-off and pick-up location for children of all ages.
