Mernda Community Early Learning Centre

At Mernda Community Early Learning Centre, a team of passionate early learning professionals provide nurturing care and education for children up to 6 years old. In line with the Early Years Learning Framework and Reggio Emilia philosophy, children learn at their own pace, with tailored programs designed to foster independent and active learners. 

The new, purpose-built centre is warm and welcoming, with colourful and inviting spaces including an "All Abilities" Therapy Room. Children can choose a comfortable corner to read or play, or try out exciting activities such as a mini climbing wall. Educators present an enriching program including creative arts and cooking lessons.

Outside is an adventure playground, with cubby houses and bridges, balance beams, climbing frames and sandpits. Educators encourage children to engage freely between the indoor and outdoor environments, building important physical, motor, social, emotional and cognitive skills as they explore.
