About Madshaw Adventures Family Daycare
My name is Laura, I have been a teacher for 13 years working in primary, high and special needs schools. I am also a mother to two fun-loving boys aged 2 and 4. This is my first year offering family daycare and I am excited to offer care for kids between 3 and 12 years of age with CCS available, meals provided and excursions in our 8-seater vehicle. I aim for Madshaw Adventures FDC to feel like a second home and would love to provide one or two days a week of care while you can feel comfortable knowing you're children are safe, happy, making friends and working on their individual academic and life goals. Our days revolve around child-led play inside and outside. We spend time in the kitchen learning how to make nutritious snacks and meals. Sensory play, arts and crafts, and fun literacy/numeracy/science activities are offered every day.

I had really struggled finding care for my son, I had been through multiple centres and would receive calls every day having to pick my son up because he wasn’t coping…Fast forward to finding Laura, the only I issue I have now is at pick ups when my son doesn’t want to go home! He is so excited to go to daycare now, I’m still pinching myself at how different life is for us now. Laura is amazing and her home is beautiful with so, so much to do for the kids. It’s such a safe, welcoming and homely environment and my only regret is not finding her sooner ❤️

My three children have been attending Madshaw Adventures Family Day Care for more than six months now. Laura has gone above and beyond to make each of them so comfortable. They love going and its so nice to feel comfortable leaving my children. Highly recommend especially to home schooling families.
