I was thinking to send my son and daughter to Little People Wagga Wagga/ Bourkelands. Did little research. The Bourkeland centre looks amazing. But mostly set red carpet for parents and other officials when they visit. Little People's is one of the best centre's around NSW. However it's operations in Wagga Wagga is different as it's been like family business now. It's all about who you know, mostly it's Montessori Children's House Wagga X staff controlling the whole operation's. Montessori used to be one of the best centre on its time, mostly due to its management. But since it's taken over by Little People it's taking nose dive on its reputation among the community. Politics at it best seems to be played on the centre. - most of the childcare has their hiring and promotion practices favor family, friends or friends of friends members of current staff over qualified candidates. - Mostly unqualified personnel in leadership roles have been observed, leading to a lack of professionalism and accountability, transparency and integrity. Talking like they now every thing. Nearly all of them are studying to get qualification in childcare. Lol the reason will be "we can't find qualification person, so we get employees and train them". How many childcare centres we have in Wagga Wagga are they facing same issue ๐Ÿฅด - About safety is a child allowed to seat on food trolley ๐Ÿ˜ž when one of my nephew was picked, the parents so one of the child seating on top of the trolley and the centre staff is pushing it around. Later found out it was the centre supervisor pushing ๐Ÿ˜•. - Culture of favoritism, where those related to management / people with that particular group receive preferential treatment can be observant. - which means Morale must be low among employees who feel undervalued and overlooked for opportunities due to all negative factors. - 98% of the employees roles are as Educates, No childcare workers or room leaders, Everyone are Educators. Bring Room leaders please. - It's a female dominated industry, where young people are mostly involved. It would be great to see males entering this industry specially management level. Request to Little People to get the management team from other centre to over see both centre's operations please.
