About Little Palace Preschool
Welcome to Montessori Junior Gymea!
Catering to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, Montessori Junior Gymea offers families a home-away-from-home experience where children feel welcome and nurtured. The skilled and qualified educators follow a child-led and open-ended program, learning alongside the children in their daily investigations and discoveries. This play-based approach nurtures the whole child and sets them up for success at school and beyond.
The modern outdoor play space is colourful and spacious, with ample opportunities for the children to develop their gross motor and physical skills while they explore. The area is well-shaded for sun-safe play and includes slides, climbing equipment and a cubby house. The children are free to run, jump, climb, crawl and play.
Indoors, the learning areas are equally colourful thanks to the children’s artwork that hangs from the walls. The rooms are light and bright to inspire a calm sense of learning. They are also equipped with a wide range of resources that support the different learning needs and styles of the children.

Fantastic day care with wonderful carers. Our daughter loves it, and happily tells us about her day each night. There are lots of different spaces for the children to play in, including an excellent outdoors area which is quite shady. There is also a covered outdoors area so the kids can still play outdoors during poor weather.

Based on my observations, the acting director at the time, Mel, was a burden to the business and lacked basic care. Well done and best of luck to you. Kind regards, Red **** Uneven terrain at rear yard with trip hazards probable, stormwater run off issues, nappies at half the time left unchanged upon pick up. When applying to add a sibling a lack of logic and care for the kids was exercised due to a technicality of forms process. In contrast to other centres, centre mgt will facilitate enough notice and guidance that need to be filled. *High* staff turnover, adding that Mel, the acting director, at the time sends policy feedback to parents. But no acknowledgment of whether feedback would be considered or not. Lacking 'basic' skills to consult. Basic. If I could report a number of non-compliances at this premises to council, I would. But I was happy that there were a few great educators there.

This rating reflects the high quality of our facilities, including both indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as our focus on maintaining safe, clean, and engaging environments for children.
