About Little Moppets Early Education and Care Centre
Welcome to Little Moppets Early Education & care, a purpose built centre newly opened in May 2024 and operating Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 6:00pm. Located on Pattie Street, by the Carousel shopping centre, this beautiful service has been custom-designed to meet the expanding needs of children 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
With a capacity for 78 children, across three bright and inviting rooms, this service features two expansive play areas, numerous resources and activities to suit each age group and a wonderful team of dedicated educators to ensure every child’s needs are met with care and attention.
At Little Moppets, we believe that play is a fundamental aspect of childhood development and learning. By embracing the joy and creativity of play, we celebrate the uniqueness and diversity of every child in our care.

We are very pleased with how our son has adapted to this centre over the past 5 months. He has really come out of his shell at little moppets and we thank the staff and owners for going above and beyond to help them feel comfortable and able to express themselves as children. Our son now loves going to daycare and often asks about going to little moppets to see his friends and staff members he has built relationships with. We highly recommend little moppets to anyone that may be looking for a new centre for their children. Stop looking because this place is it! Thankyou Ken and Merissa🙏🏼

My boy has been here for only a few short months and coming into the idea of trying another childcare center, myself and husband has many concerns. The first center left G with a newly created anxiety and “fear” so we didn’t continue and decided to find a center that suited him better. We found little moppets. G’s first day he said good bye and no tears shed. A few months on and he asks at night before bed “moppets tomorrow?” With excitement. We couldn’t thank the staff at little moppets enough for what they have provided for not just our son but us, as parents who must leave our child and be able to work knowing he is safe and having fun in an enriching environment that is including for him and those around him. Thank you so much to all the staff at little moppets for loving and caring for our child when we can’t be there 🥰
