Welcome to Little Lane Early Learning Centre - Box Hill!

We are a family owned and operated Early Learning Centre, providing high-quality long day care, Kindergarten and early learning programs for children aged 0 to 6 years old.

Our unique, custom-designed building features large classrooms flooded with natural light and directly accessible to the outdoor learning areas, as well as a purpose-built Atelier art studio, dance and music room and children’s library.

Our environments and specialised early learning programs are specifically designed to encourage children to explore the world around them and inspire a sense of awe and wonder that will promote ongoing inquiry and a life-long love of learning that they can carry throughout their entire education journey.

Our aim is to foster within each child awareness and acceptance of others, developing respect for those who may be different from themselves in terms of lifestyle, abilities and culture.

We acknowledge that parents are children’s first educators and aim to work collaboratively to develop shared goals and expectations for each child by providing an environment where connecting links with the family and the wider world are affirmed and extended.

High quality government approved Kindergarten Program taught by qualified registered Early Childhood Teachers. Our Kindergarten Programs have a strong focus on literacy and numeracy to provide children with a strong foundation before entering Prep.

• Music program specialised for early childhood, delivered weekly by a Kodaly trained teacher.
• Art program specialised for early childhood. With an in-house art teacher for children aged 3 years and over, four times a week.
• Language immersion program through our qualified in-house Mandarin teacher, which is tailored to link with the daily classroom program. This program is offered to all children aged 3 years and over, four days a week.
• Qualified chef who prepares fresh meals daily, catering for children with varying dietary needs in our 5 star rated kitchen.
• Variety of extra-curricular activities taught by qualified and experienced coaches. Classes include soccer, rugby, tennis, and dance. Nappies, wipes, sheets, hats and sunscreen provided.
