Leichhardt Childrens Centre

Leichhardt Children’s Centre is best known for its connectedness and relationships, from the moment you walk in, you can immediately feel a warmth of strong sense of community and belonging.

LCC caters for 30 pre-school children (2-5 year olds) and 15 nursery children (0-2 year olds) daily and provides quality education and care following a long day care routine.

Our families enjoy an abundant outdoor play space, vegetable gardens, designated meal space, spacious indoor areas which flow out to verandahs . The spaces are dynamic and flexible in their purpose and use.

The children also enjoy being part of the local community venturing to the library, fire station, shopping plaza, parks and family-friendly restaurants.

The Educators value their relationships with parents and see this as the foundation for providing meaningful programs: the curriculum content is a well-balanced selection of learning experiences based on children’s current interests and intentional teaching.
