Kaya and Wanju (Hello and Welcome)

My name is Leanne and I have been running my own successful and award winning Family Day Care service here in Canning vale since 2005.

I am a  Diploma qualified Educator with over twenty years experience in early childhood education, and I also hold my Diploma in Education Support from Edith Cowan University.  Within my service I have available 2 Educator Assistants on hand for when I need to attend to appointments so as to not impact on families care days,  I also provide both morning and afternoon tea and lunch along with all nappies/wipes/nappy cream.  

I work alongside the families offering support and guidance that is in the best interests of the child, so that we as a team can work together to best support your child through these important developmental years.   Family Day Care is a small group setting of 4 children with myself as the primary Educator so that your child experiences consistency in care and allows for individual one on one learning  that works with your child's strengths and interests.

I offer an integrated holistic approach paying attention to the children's physical, personal, social, emotional and spiritual well being as well as the cognitive aspects of their learning and development with the focus on play based learning. Within my service I also offer a School Readiness program dedicated to providing children the best possible start for when they start Kindergarten here in W.A focussing on the criteria as set by the West Australian Education Department.
