Ladybugs Daycare / Preschool

Ladybugs Daycare & Pre-School is a family-owned long day care and preschool service committed to providing high-quality early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. With three dedicated classrooms for infants (6 weeks–2 years), toddlers (2–3 years), and preschoolers (4–5 years), we offer a tailored approach that meets the unique needs of each developmental stage.

Our play-based curriculum follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), promoting each child’s sense of belonging, being, and becoming. Educators thoughtfully plan experiences based on individual interests, strengths, and learning styles, creating a fun, flexible, and evolving learning environment. We believe every child is a capable and active learner and provide opportunities for them to explore, discover, and express themselves in meaningful ways.

For our preschool-aged children, we offer a dedicated school readiness and preschool program that supports a confident transition to formal schooling. These programs are embedded with intentional learning, social-emotional development, and early literacy and numeracy experiences.

As a tight-knit, family-oriented centre, Ladybugs places strong emphasis on relationships. Our educators and management team are consistently present and engaged, fostering a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected. We work in close partnership with families, honouring their input and supporting each child’s home culture and identity within our inclusive practices.

Community involvement, sustainability, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are key values embedded in our daily practices. Through these principles, we help children develop a strong sense of identity, belonging, and connection to the world around them.
