Ku-ring-gai Kindergarten

Ku-ring-gai Kindergarten is a small, family-owned and community-focused early learning service where children feel safe, known, and genuinely cared for.

Our long-standing educators and close-knit team provide consistency and stability, allowing children to build strong, trusting relationships. Families often tell us our Kindy feels like an extension of their family, a place where educators truly know their child, celebrate who they are, and support them to grow at their own pace.

Our play-based preschool program supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, while building strong foundations in early literacy, numeracy, school readiness, and resilience. We place a strong emphasis on kindness, emotional regulation and independence, skills that families consistently tell us matter most.

As a small service, we offer personalised care, flexible learning spaces, and intentional teaching tailored to each child’s needs. Each learning space is led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), ensuring strong educational leadership and meaningful learning experiences. Our educators work closely with families to support children’s confidence, development, and smooth transitions to school.

Children enjoy rich outdoor learning, including time in our wellness garden where they help care for our resident chickens, building empathy, responsibility, and a connection to nature.

Located within the local community and close to nearby schools, our Kindy helps children feel connected and confident. We enjoy regular excursions, including visits to Turramurra Public School next door and walks to Hamilton Park. We also proudly sponsor the local Kissing Point Baseball Club and value strong partnerships within our community.
