About KU Petersham Preschool
Set amongst the tranquil trees of historic Petersham Park, KU Petersham Preschool offers a high quality preschool program for children aged 3-5 years. We offer extended hours from 8:00am - 4:00pm for 50 weeks of the year, and Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is available to eligible families.
Our centre provides an educational, play-based program for children, in a welcoming learning environment. Our enthusiastic staff have extensive experience in the early childhood years and believe that children learn best through play, in a stimulating and well-planned environment catering to each child's interests and skill levels.
Our spacious outdoor play area is second to none and we embed sustainable practices throughout all aspects of our learning. We prepare children for school and offer creative transition to school programmes.

KU Petersham stands out as an exemplary preschool, where our child has thrived under the care of the dedicated staff particularly I want to mention the great care that Sam, Denise and Hester. Their bubbly and joyful personalities really suit my child. The preschool has a seamless blend of learning and enjoyment. The preschool boasts an exceptional outdoor area . My child particularly enjoys tyre swing, trampoline and climbing the tree. I wholeheartedly endorse KU Petersham to any family seeking a nurturing, inclusive environment for their child.

Our experience with KU has been nothing short of incredible. The staff have all been so welcoming as our daughter makes the transition from daycare to preschool (or 'park school' as she calls it!). Being set in beautiful Petersham Park means the children spend so much of the day outside, surrounded by nature. Whilst the hours are shorter than a long daycare centre, the fact that our daughter happily races out the door each morning makes it more than worth it! We could not be happier.
