About KU Lance Children's Centre
Our program offers children the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of learning experiences and activities, each specifically designed to promote children’s confidence as capable, active participants in their own learning. Children are presented with a range of activities including gardening, cooking, physical play, yoga, block building, sand and water play, science experiments, early numeracy activities such as counting and measurement, and early literacy activities such as reading, drawing and writing. Our focus on the arts allows us to explore culture and humanity and provides a springboard to developing a communication tool to express thinking.
KU Lance is a welcoming and calm space where each child is considered a competent, capable and unique individual who brings with them the complexities of their own experience of family and culture. As such, we aim to develop strong and positive relationships with not just the child but their entire family, working in partnership for the best possible outcomes for each child. We aim to establish immediate rapport and a sense of belonging in our community, as families arrive through the front door.

Feel like home. Very creative environment with diverse arts & crafts, walks to Barangaroo park and even chicken on site ;)

Our son attends this daycare and he loves it. He calls it “chicken school” because they have a chicken coop and a rabbit. The facilities are a great and it feels like home. Great outdoors in the middle of the city. The staff are great, very nuturing and always happy to go the extra mile for your LO.
