About KU Concord Children's Centre
Welcome to KU Concord Children’s Centre!
At KU Concord, we are committed to ensuring that all children at our centre are provided with the best learning and educational opportunities possible, within a warm and welcoming environment.
The staff and families from our centre come from a wide variety of social and cultural backgrounds, which we acknowledge and celebrate daily. We highly value input from all families and encourage families to participate in the development of our program by sharing their knowledge and ideas.
At KU Concord, we are proud of our reputation within the local community of providing rich education and care that concentrates on individual children in a family-focussed and supportive way.
Our centre is a welcoming and nurturing space where each child is immersed in a rich tapestry of educationally interactive experiences – a space where children are supported to be their own, unique selves, growing and developing a sense of belonging and empowerment.
Our program offers children the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of learning experiences and activities, each specifically designed to promote children’s confidence as capable, active participants in their own learning. Children are presented with a range of activities including gardening, arts and crafts, music and movement, physical play, block building, sand and water play, science experiments, early numeracy activities such as counting and measurement, and early literacy activities such as reading, drawing and writing.
We greatly value the strong relationships between our staff, children and families, and we look forward to the opportunity of including your family in the life of our centre.
In addition to the high-quality well-rounded programs we offer, all KU centres are also encouraged to develop an area of focus.
At KU Concord, we focus on multiculturalism. We have a multicultural team and cater for a wide variety of cultures in the community.
We incorporate this into our program through activities such as celebrating cultural events with families and staff and interaction in children’s first languages.
We feel that the children benefit from this focus, because it helps them understand and interact with each other and teaches them tolerance and kindness. It also helps children develop an understanding of their local and wider community and an appreciation for other cultures.

My son started at KU last year and while he initially had a tough time transitioning, I honestly could not have chosen a better centre for him. The educators are caring, patient and incredibly supportive as he found his confidence being away from home. The centre is spotless and well-equipped, the meals prepared by the Chef are nutritious, delicious and I love that they involve the children in picking ingredients from the garden. As a parent who has to return to work, there's no greater comfort than knowing your child is in a safe, nurturing and loving environment, where the educators have genuine care and interest in your little one. Thank you to the wonderful carers at KU Concord!

My son has been going to KU Concord child care since last April. The teachers are amazing, informative and loving. Their communication is fabulous and are transparent about everything .They are always there to help with any questions you may have. My son is super excited to go to "school" because he wants to see his teachers and friends. I am pleased with their log in procedures and security. They really work hard to keep kids occupied.

Connie is really enjoying her time at KU Concord. she started going there when she was only nine months old. In the beginning she would cry and suke when we drop her off as all babies do. A week later she would only grimace and 2 week later, she’s actually very happy when we drop her off in the morning! Thats a great sign that she really enjoys her time there and are been well looked after by the educators. All my interactions from Kieran the principal to all the staff have been nothing short of very pleasant. I recommend KU Concord to all my friends and their kids would be attending already if not for the long waitlist! keep up the great work team!

As a new Dad, I was obviously a little hesitant on sending my baby girl to daycare. My daughter was just 4 months old when we enrolled her so we wanted to be confident with her carers. My wife and I looked around and had walk throughs at several in our area and KU stood out to us for many reasons. Firstly there was an immediate sense of calm when we walked through the different age rooms. All the kids were playing and interacting with each other happily but not over the top. I met with the educators from the room my little girl would be in and they were sweet, gentle and we observed for over an hour and knew this was the place for our girl. Their onsite chef, loves to create fun healthy food for the kids and is passionate about her work. There is ample parking so we don't need to rush when dropping off or picking up and everyone in the team loves to help the kids learn, and explore on a daily basis. I highly recommend KU concord and feel so comfortable and confident with my precious girl growing and learning there.
