About Kool Kids Mermaid Waters Long Daycare and Kindergarten
Welcome to Kool Kids Mermaid Waters. We're ideally located for families in Mermaid Beach, Mermaid Waters and Burleigh Waters.
Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
We provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

We've been at Kool Kids for 15months now and have always loved the centre from the day we started. It is a great day care with educators who truely care and approachable. The educators are dedicated and attentive to the needs of my child. Activities and learning at the centre are well thought out to keep the children interested. We love that the centre has a large common yard amongst the children, so that all age appropriate kids can play together. My daughter loves going to Kool Kids and have much fun and always look forward to her recount of the day at night as the educators communicate with us through the app.

Great daycare, both my kids (4&1) attend Kool Kids. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and it’s always clean and tidy.. both my kids love going each day and have made lots of friends. Very happy with the centre would definitely recommend!

It’s my son’s second home. I feel blessed to have found them and see my child nurtured and cared. They took effort to include our culture and traditions as part of their curriculum and development that makes it even more special. Love seeing children learn and grow with such diversity. It’s such a warm and friendly environment to be around with the lovely educators, each of them have made personal connections to my child and us as a family. Love you guys 🫶🏼

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Kool Kids Mermaid Waters. We’ve tried a few centres across the Gold Coast, and KKMW is by far the best. Our first child went all the way through, and our second is currently there — every stage, from the babies' room through to the 4-year-old group, has been amazing. The educators are so caring, kind, and genuinely invested in the children. Staff turnover is noticeably low compared to other centres we've experienced, which really speaks to the great culture and management. It also means wonderful continuity for the kids, helping them feel settled and secure. We’re so grateful to have found a place where our children are so well cared for — we couldn’t recommend Kool Kids Mermaid Waters more highly!
