About Knox Children and Family Centre - Wantirna South
The Knox Children and Family Centre Wantirna South is open at 81 Argyle Way, Wantirna South. We opened on 31 January, welcoming child care, preschool, Maternal and Child Health and playgroups into our new building.
We provide child care and education for children between the ages of birth to five years of age. The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm (49 weeks of the year).
The Knox Children and Family Centre Wantirna South provides a healthy, stable education and learning environment for children. Our experienced and professional staff welcome families into our friendly centres where each child's individual needs are our priority.
Kindergarten in our Long Day Care Program
Children can access their Funded Kindergarten Year in our Long Day Care program, which is offered Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm to allow for flexibility for those parents with work commitments. Our program is delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
The minimum attendance requirements is three days a week, to ensure that your child receives 15 hours per week of Kindergarten Program.

I cannot speak highly enough of the maternal and child health services at Knox Children and Family Centre Wantirna South. Our nurse, Cathy, has been incredibly helpful, kind, and supportive throughout our journey. She is not only knowledgeable but also knows exactly how to encourage and uplift me as a parent. Her positive feedback has helped reduce my stress, and I always feel reassured after our visits. Cathy is a gem, and we are so grateful for her care!

We love kCFC. My boys have attended daycare here and are now in kinder. The facilities are fantastic but what really separates KCFC from the rest, is the staff! The staff are incredible. They genuinely care and take interest in each child. I cannot recommend the centre more highly.
