About Kings Road Long Day Pre-School
We are a smaller, highly resourced Preschool with a broad educational program that has an emphasis on learning and creativity through art and craft, and nature and the environment.
Our program aims to support each child in developing their thinking skills, their creativity, a love of learning, to develop their potential, and have fun with their friends and activities at Preschool. We aim to enhance the children’s ‘school readiness’ in areas such as sociability, independence, confidence, creativity, and pre-reading, math and writing skills. We encourage skills and attitudes that support children in their transition to School.
We aim to provide a warm, safe, and supportive learning environment for children and families. We support relationships based on kindness, fairness and consideration of others.
Our Preschool is rated ‘Exceeding’ under the National Quality Standards.

When we first enrolled our daughter at Kingsroad Preschool, she was very nervous and anxious. Our daughter struggled with separation anxiety and had experienced some trauma at her previous daycare. However, the caring and supportive educators at Kingsroad preschool were incredibly patient, taking the time to reassure her and help her feel safe and adjust quickly. They took the time to understand her needs and created a warm, safe environment where she felt comfortable. They worked closely and communicated regularly with us to ease her transition, and within weeks, her anxiety began to subside. Over a few months, we saw a noticeable change in her confidence and enthusiasm. She grew in confidence and her social and emotional skills improved drastically. She loved and looked forward to going to school everyday. Overall, we are so grateful for the positive impact Kingsroad preschool has had on our daughter and highly recommend it to other parents seeking a safe, nurturing and enriching environment!

Staff are all gentle and kind, our son is happy and confident there and we will send our daughter to this centre once she is 3 years old.
