Welcome to Kindy Patch Queanbeyan. We're ideally located for families in Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra, Crestwood, Greenleigh, Beard, Oaks Estate, Harman, Karabar, Queanbeyan East, and Queanbeyan West.
Our Long Daycare and Preschool Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
We provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our multicultural and dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the Government-approved Preschool program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.
- Real Life experiences: Children participate in fun and exciting experiences such as woodworking, harvesting the veggie garden, caring for our worm farm and basic cooking skills.

Finding the right daycare for your child is a big decision, and as a first-time parent, I was incredibly nervous about sending my little one for the first time. From day one, the team at Kindy Patch has been nothing short of amazing. They’re so caring, attentive, and professional, which made the whole transition so much easier. Now, nine months later, I couldn’t be happier with our choice. The educators genuinely go above and beyond to create a nurturing and engaging environment. My daughter has absolutely thrived since starting, and when she’s faced challenges, they’ve been adaptable, adjusting her routine to suit her needs. Seeing her develop new skills, build friendships, and grow in confidence has been so rewarding. I’m so grateful for the love and dedication Liz & the team put into their work every day. I do not recommend this kindergarten because the staff, in my opinion, does not show empathy towards children and parents. When I left my child, he cried for a long time, but no one even tried to console him. In addition, the website states that you can bring your own milk, but in reality we were denied this without explanation. Communication with the manager left an unpleasant impression - there was no desire to help or offer a solution. An important moment for parents is to feel that their child is in caring hands, but here, unfortunately, such a feeling did not arise.

Our sons started in August 2024, since then we have had a really positive experience with Kindy Patch. The staff are all kind, caring and professional. The new centre manager has created a wonderful learning environment which encourages the kids to thrive. The centre continues to improve and upgrade the facilities, inside and outside. The centre is very clean and the staff take hygiene seriously to minimise illness. Overall we’re very happy with the centre and the friendly team.
