About Kindy Patch Grovely Long Daycare and Kindergarten
Welcome to Kindy Patch Grovely. We're ideally located for families in Arana Hills, Keperra, Ferny Hills, Ferny Grove, Upper Kedron, Mitchelton, Gaythorne and Everton Hills.
Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
We provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at our Centre including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.

As a first-time single mother, the search for a daycare was daunting, especially with the added challenge of anxiety. Financial circumstances meant I had to return to work, so finding the right place for my son was crucial. After visiting several daycares, I was met with cold and unwelcoming vibes, leaving me discouraged and ready to give up. But then I walked into the final daycare on my list—and everything changed. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt an immediate sense of warmth and calm. The centre manager greeted me with a bright, welcoming hello, and the staff were genuinely friendly, creating an atmosphere of support and care. My son started that January, and throughout his time there, I’ve always felt fully supported. Every question I asked was met with kindness, and I was never made to feel silly for needing reassurance. Now, over a year later, my son is thriving—he genuinely loves every day he spends there. Seeing his happiness and growth has made all the difference, and I’m beyond grateful for the incredible staff who have made this journey so much easier for both of us. I am incredibly grateful to the centre manager and staff for making this transition so smooth for both my son and me. Their kindness, support, and dedication have made all the difference, turning what once felt daunting into a truly positive experience. As I prepare to welcome my second child this May, I feel reassured knowing that when he starts daycare in December, he’ll be surrounded by the same warmth and care that has helped my eldest thrive. I’m beyond excited for the years ahead and the wonderful journey that awaits us.

Our son has been at Kindy Patch Grovely for the past two years, and it's been an incredible journey. From the very beginning, the educators and staff have been so warm and welcoming — it immediately felt like a second home. There's a real sense of community and family here, and it's clear that every child is genuinely cared for and supported. My child has thrived at Kindy Patch Grovely. The centre has a lot of long term educators which for me was peace of mind. We are kept up to date on everything that goes on throughout the day from meals to toileting to the activities they do. I couldn’t recommend this centre more highly!!!

My son has been attending Kindy Patch since February. My husband does the pick ups and drops off. I know this must be a great place because my 4 year old absolutely loves it. He always asked if he gets to go to kindy tomorrow so you really know they must be doing something special there.
