We honestly couldn’t be happier with Kinda Mindi and the care they’ve given our girls.<br><br>What stands out most to us is how well the educators know them as individuals. Even though they’re twins, they have very different personalities, and the team understands those differences. They know what makes each girl tick, what they enjoy, what they’re working on, how to encourage them s well as facilitate giving them space from each other to blossom as an individual.<br><br>We also love that so much thought goes into the girls learning practical skills, not just keeping them entertained. They’re encouraged to brush their teeth, become more independent and take responsibility for little things themselves. Particpating in experiments, baking cakes for fellow classmates onntheir birthdays and family-style meals mean the girls sit together and choose their own food, using tongs to serve themselves. It’s such a simple thing, but it teaches independence, coordination, sharing and confidence in a really natural way.<br><br>The activities are another thing we really value. Fortnightly show and tell has been fantastic for building the girls’ confidence and encouraging them to speak in front of their friends. And we love that Kinda Mindi has a great big outdoor space for playing and gardening and they also bring in external experts to give the children experiences they wouldn’t necessarily get elsewhere like getting to see and hold various creatures, or in our case watch others hold :) The girls come home genuinely excited to tell us what they’ve seen and learnt.<br><br>What also stands out is the longevity of the staff. There are educators who have been there for years, and that continuity means so much. The girls have been able to build genuine relationships with educators who know them, remember their little milestones and have watched them grow. As parents, knowing that they’re surrounded by familiar faces who genuinely care about them is incredibly reassuring.<br><br>Most importantly the girls love going to Kinda Mindi. They’re excited to walk in and often come home with a new story, skill or little achievement to tell us about. Watching their confidence grow and seeing how comfortable they are there has been wonderful.<br><br>A huge thank you to the Kinda Mindi team for everything you do for our girls. We genuinely feel that they’re not just cared for while we’re at work, they’re known, encouraged, challenged, celebrated and loved. We couldn’t recommend Kinda Mindi highly enough. ❤️
