About Kids on Gallaghers Child Care Centre
Kids on Gallaghers Childcare Centre is a 69 place childcare and kindergarten service that has been a part of the Glen Waverley community since our establishment in January 2008. We are part of the Trident Early Learning early childhood organisation.
Our high-quality childcare and kindergarten services cater to all children aged between 6 weeks and 6 years located throughout Glen Waverley, Wheelers Hill, Burwood, Glen Iris and Ringwood. We are situated within the City of Monash council, and are located on land of the Wurundjeri people.
At Kids on Gallaghers, we encourage learning to be fun, educational, inspiring and we welcome families to participate and be involved in the educational program of their children.
This creates an atmophere for children to gain a sense of belonging and for families to know their children are safe, happy and engaged while they are busy with other commitments.
Food is a big part of our environment. From growing our own fruit and veggie crops, to baking, cooking and participating in our own Masterchef classes.
We have a wonderful, dedicated and passionate team that thrive on teaching, being creative, and engaging with children while offering a wide range of activities and incursions for the children to enjoy and learn from.
We provide extra activities such as:
- Happy Feet - weekly
- Kelly Sports - Fortnightly
- Educa - Observation/Photos/Parent communication program
- Doctor visits fortnightly
- Maternal child health nurse on request
- Masterchef classes
- Dental and photographer every year
- Other special visitors throughout the year

The Kids on Gallaghers is an excellent childcare centre. My kids are completing their first year in KOG, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We believe the staff at KOG is the primary difference compared to other childcare centres. All staff at KOG are warm, caring, and loving. They were very welcoming when our kids started earlier this year. Our kids grew very comfortable with them in a few days. After a year, our kids love spending time with every staff member and look forward to happily going to childcare every day. Another key difference at KOG is the quality of early learning activities. All their learning activities are thoughtful, engaging, and so much fun for the kids. They have improved our kids' academic growth, social and emotional intelligence, and cultural knowledge. Our kids have grown as better human beings with all-around skills because of KOG. We can't thank KOG enough for nurturing and caring for our kids.
