At Goodna – Queen St Kids ELC, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional early learning experience inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Our focus is on creating diverse learning opportunities and unique environments for children, families, and the community. Our commitment lies in delivering the highest quality care and education through our well-crafted programs, compassionate and qualified educators, and a supportive management team.

We provide a comprehensive kindergarten program that prepares children for their transition to school. Our program is designed to foster a love for learning, develop essential skills, and promote social and emotional growth. Through engaging activities and hands-on experiences, we nurture each child’s individual strengths and interests, ensuring they are well-equipped for the next stage of their educational journey.

Our experienced educators are passionate about supporting and empowering children in their learning and development. We believe in the environment as the third teacher, and we work collaboratively with it to offer meaningful and enriching experiences that foster a lifelong desire to learn.

Our thoughtfully designed environments are abundant with natural resources, encouraging children to explore, investigate, and embrace new challenges. This approach allows children to make their own choices and develop a strong connection with the natural world. Families and children have access to a variety of play spaces, including a state-of-the-art studio (Atelier), relaxation retreats, and an adventure playground. Additionally, our on-site chefs prepare wholesome meals, catering to dietary requirements.

What is Atelier? At our centre, we invite children to engage in our dedicated art studio with our Atelierista. Together, we explore concepts such as light, shadow, reflection, digital and interactive art mediums, and overhead projection to support project-based learning.

We are open from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, offering early learning and long day care services for children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years. Our centre provides nappies, sunscreen, sanitisers, and Sun Smart hats for all children. The Queensland Government is introducing Free Kindy! Starting from January 1, 2024, Queensland children can attend a government-approved kindergarten program for 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, at no cost!
