Kids Club has expanded its services to Oakdowns, Tasmania. Recently renamed, Kids Club Oakdowns centre provides a welcoming environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, with an adaptable educational program designed to promote learning through play.

At Kids Club Oakdowns, the experienced Educators draw inspiration from the teachings of renowned education theorists, Lev Vygotsky and Maria Montessori. They believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences and play-based learning in a safe and nurturing environment. My daughter got very red and swollen on her private parts. I figured that it may have been the wipes that they were using at the centre, so I provided the same brand I use at home. Everything was okay for a while until once again she was swollen and red, except this time she freaked out horribly at having her nappy changed. She was crying and trying to get away. It traumatised both me and her. I quit working and have stayed home ever since. I spoke to my child health nurse about it, and she agreed that it was the best choice to never return her to this daycare. She was too young to tell me what happened to make her so scared to have her nappy changed. If she were older and could communicate at the time, I wouldn't be leaving a review, and I would have taken other avenues. My older two children never came home from daycare acting like this. I had very positive experiences and had no worries going back to work until my youngest daughter went here. I will never use a daycare ever again.
