About Karen's Montessori Family Day Care
I am a qualified Montessori directress and have a Diploma of Children's Services. i have 18 years of experience working in the childcare industry and owned my own Montessori preschool for 10 years. In the secure environment of my home I offer personalised care for your children (at a ratio of 4 children to 1 educator) while they learn and grow the Montessori way. The Montessori method of teaching is highly sought after as it develops the whole child. From an early age children are exposed to maths and language while learning independence and problem solving through the practical life and sensorial activities. We also enjoy the cultural aspect of learning, with children learning to respect and value the environment. Tolerance and respect for others is a cornerstone of our teaching.
Fun, laughter, outdoor play and imagination are encouraged and children quickly settle in this home-away-from-home environment as they explore and grow.
