About Us – Journey Early Learning Echuca
At Journey Early Learning Echuca, we believe that every child’s journey begins with a strong foundation built on curiosity, care, and community. Located at 255 Ogilvie Avenue, our purpose-built centre provides a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment where children from six weeks to six years can learn, grow, and thrive.
Led by Centre Manager Leeanne Mathers, who brings over 30 years of early childhood experience, our passionate team of educators is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and care. We strive to foster an inclusive environment that supports each child’s unique learning style, interests, and developmental needs.
Our facilities include spacious, light-filled rooms, shady outdoor play areas, and sensory pathways designed to inspire creativity and support physical development. We also offer complimentary coffee and snacks for parents to help start the day with ease.
At Journey Echuca, we value strong connections with families and the broader community. Our community engagement programs and nature-based play curriculum encourage children to explore, connect, and build confidence through meaningful experiences. From our funded Kindergarten Program to our School Readiness initiatives like Kinder Plus, we’re here to support every step of your child’s early learning journey.

We’ve had children attend this centre for the past 9 years and couldn’t be happier with the care provided. After a 2-year break due to travelling, I was a little nervous about transitioning our 3-year-old back into care, but the staff were incredibly supportive, patient, and understanding. They made the transition smooth and reassuring for both us and our child. The centre itself is warm, welcoming, and well-run — we’re so grateful to be back.
