Journey Early Learning Wallan

I really like our wallan journey centre. The educators in all the rooms (we had nursery through to kinder) have all been caring, well educated in child development and genuinely enjoy interacting with my children. They are very quick to identify and accommodate each child's needs based on their personalities and interests, and have been really helpful communicating any things of note to us. The activities are always interesting, they do lots of excursions to local parks, shops and community sites, and in kinder they also run sport programs and bush kinder classes. The admin staff are always open and friendly, and despite sometimes getting several calls about changing days, forgotten items or medical questions, (sometimes all in one day)have always been polite and helpful. The food Chef James makes is delicious, interesting and nutritious. He also really enjoys working with the kids and frequently runs cooking classes and has supervised "helpers" during daily cooking and cleaning - wonderful for developing food prep skills and healthy eating habits early. I consistently recommend journey to anyone looking for a great centre, the only problem is getting in. They are so good you have to enroll when pregnant to get a spot if you need nursery care - so heads up if you're considering them :)
