Do not enrol your kids during spring or summer. The facilities are made of 90 per cent outdoor space meaning that the kids are sent outside during extreme summer conditions above 30 degrees with high UV. My child was getting sunburnt day by day by the constant sun exposure during the December heatwave. Wearing sunscreen or a hat could not withstand the constant sun exposure. When I complained to the centre owner Jessica herself about the extreme sun exposure and if she could keep my child indoors as it was 30+ degrees temperatures outside she advised that the kids cannot stay indoors all day due to the lack of indoor space. My child also refused to wear a hat but was still allowed to play outside in the "shaded" areas that could not withstand the extreme Sydney summer heat during the months of November to January. I do not recommend this centre due to the lack of indoor space as the facilities are 90% outdoor space. The "shaded" areas simply do not provide enough coverage during Sydney's extreme heat temperatures.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your feedback. We take the health, safety and wellbeing of every child in our care very seriously. We would like to clarify that this review does not accurately reflect our practices. When the UV levels are high or weather conditions are considered unsafe, the children are kept indoors and our program is adjusted accordingly. We also closely monitor temperatures and provide sunscreen, hats, shaded areas and access to water throughout the day. We are particularly concerned by the suggestion that a child was experiencing ongoing sunburn or that a family was told their child could not remain indoors due to a lack of indoor space, as this is not reflective of our service practices. For privacy reasons, we will not discuss individual children or families publicly and encourage any family with concerns to contact the Centre Director directly.
