I’ve had my daughter attend Jellybeans 3 days a week since she turned 1 and it is bittersweet as she has been accepted into her private pre primary school. I couldn’t recommend jellybeans more they have always been attentive and special praise to Miss Kathy who has gone above on numerous occasions even helping to hand out 3rd birthday party invitations and encouraged a community with all the kids. All the teachers have been amazing and supportive, being a busy mum I will often pick my daughter up with brushed and styled hair ( thank you so much for this, the fight in the mornings over hair is truly next level lately ) with a happy gaggle of toddler friends around her all smiles and laughter. Sometimes we have had hard drop offs and tears in the morning but there has always been someone to take her hand to distract her, maybe to feed the fish or provide that extra hug while I make the mad dash out the door. My daughter will often come home with new songs to sing, her manners surprise me as well as her view of the world and the way things work and I credit the daycare with there range of activities they have provided complete with photo updates on the app, music instruments a firm favourite and the afternoon dance parties are always a laugh to see at pick up. Thank you to all the teachers I am in awe of what you do for a living and tip my hate to all daycare workers. Also supper jealous of the food they are served and have stolen a few ideas for home! 💕

A Concerning and Disappointing Experience I had a very negative experience at this daycare, specifically with the lead teacher in the 3-month to 1-year-old room. From the beginning, I noticed a lack of professionalism in handling basic tasks, such as preparing baby formula. She frequently called me over issues she couldn’t resolve herself, claiming the formula measurements I provided were incorrect (even though I personally counted and measured every scoop to ensure accuracy). Instead of properly feeding my daughter, she simply refused to give her the formula, which is completely unacceptable. On multiple occasions, I stayed outside to observe after dropping off my daughter. I witnessed the teacher deliberately leaving my daughter crying alone, completely ignoring her. I also noticed she showed favoritism towards certain children, which I find highly unprofessional in an environment where all children should be treated equally. The most alarming incident occurred when she called me to inform me that my daughter had suffered a cut in her intimate area. Upon hearing this, I immediately contacted the authorities and took my daughter to the hospital. Both the police and medical staff praised my quick action, emphasizing that such situations must be handled with the utmost seriousness. Following this event, the teacher and her team began treating me with hostility and avoidance, making it clear that my daughter was not safe in this daycare. I ultimately decided to withdraw my daughter—a decision that seemed to align with the teacher’s apparent desire to avoid responsibility. To make matters worse, this same teacher filed a false report with Child Protection Services, alleging that I mistreated my daughter—an entirely unfounded and defamatory accusation. Fortunately, these lies did not go anywhere, but they highlight how unethical and dangerous this individual is to be working with young children. I am relieved I made the decision to remove my daughter from this daycare. I would not recommend this daycare to any parent who values the safety, well-being, and fair treatment of their child.

Started using Jellybeans about 5 years ago for my son and found them really good, the carers were really engaging and you could see they cared about the kids, the place was clean and I felt comfortable leaving my son there. Contrast that with our more recent experiences when our daughter attended. Cleanliness took a nose dive, my daughter would regularly come home in a dirty nappy, red raw from nappy rash. We were buying socks and shoes for her on a regular basis and they would constantly go missing. She would come home in other kids clothes despite having plenty of changes of clothes in her bag. Prices constantly going up and the quality of service plummeting. She seemed to have a new carer every few days. The end came when we got a phone call to tell us our daughter had been left unsupervised in her room for an indeterminate amount of time. Only realised when a parent came to tell them. We got a phone call and initially they tell us it was for no longer than 2 minutes, next thing they say we've investigated it and it could have been 10 minutes, in the end they said it could have been up to 20 minutes which basically confirmed they didn't have a clue how long she was there. We were lucky that the other parent found her. To add insult to injury it wasn't even the centre manager who called us to tell us and when we tried to have a sit down with the manager to discuss what was going on she was nowhere to be found, any time we tried to contact her she wasn't there, had gone home early and ignored any requests for a call back. We felt helpless as there aren't a lot of available options for places in other childcare centres but leaving her there was no longer an option. It is my understanding that the centre now has a new manager so I hope for the sake of the families that use their facilities that their standards improve but my daughter won't be going back.
