Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Doncaster

While there have been past and present staff members at the centre who have provided exceptional care, the overall experience has been overshadowed by the frequent changes in management. I have repeatedly reached out to upper management in Queensland to address the ongoing issues and the disappointing manner in which the centre is being operated. Unfortunately, my attempts to engage in a constructive dialogue were met with indifference; I was either dismissed, faced blame directed at hardworking staff, or received generic AI-generated responses. Upon entering the centre, there is a lack of warmth and care—it feels cold and tense. The staff appear to be unsupported and lacking guidance, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere reminiscent of a toxic work environment. The centre's manager has been extremely rude, and when parents raised concerns, we were consistently ignored. It is alarming that over eight staff members left in a matter of weeks, a clear sign of underlying issues. I have withdrawn my son from the centre, as have six other families from his class that I am aware of. Promises of extracurricular activities and parent evenings went unfulfilled, and the management's lack of interest in our feelings or suggestions is evident. The centre treats families like numbers rather than valued members of a community. I do not trust them to ensure my son's happiness and safety. I cannot recommend this centre to new families. Seek a centre that truly values its community and fosters a kind, supportive environment.

This centre has (had) some lovely educators who seem to be quickly leaving, which is a shame. The turn over rate is high, with over 8 staff leaving in December and January. This leaves drop off and pick up to be an inconsistent experience for children and parents. Management at this centre is lacking integrity and is slow to respond to queries. Quality of management response is also poor - often passing the blame down to the overworked educators or replying to emails with hollow AI generated responses. Ultimately, my family just felt like a number at this centre and despite discussions with Imagine management in Queensland not much at all was done to improve the situation. Even after leaving the centre we were still enrolled eight times (between two children) with them on CentreLink and continued to receive emails and reports as though we were still there!

I highly recommend Imagine Doncaster for their 4YO kinder program. My daughter has just completed her time there, and we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional education and care she received, which has given her a wonderful start to her educational journey. Misun and Tanzeela are invaluable members of the Imagine team, and we feel fortunate to have had them for both her 3YO and 4YO kinder programs. The strong bond my daughter has formed with her educators over two years has helped her develop a sense of belonging and comfort, making her time at kinder truly enjoyable. We could not have asked for anything more!
