About Hyacinth Family Day Care
My name is Vijitra, but everyone calls me Jojo. You'll find my Family Day Care centre in Asquith.
I decided to study Early Childhood Education and Care because I love taking care of children. I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I decided to set up Hyacinth Family Day Care to enable me to look after my son and other children at the same time.
We speak English at home, and I encourage my son to also speak Thai. I love to teach the children some Thai words.
I strive to provide a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for the children. I want the children to feel safe and secure, and feel that our home is also their second home.
I believe that children learn through play and that it is important to provide lots of activities and resources for the children. We have a large safe outdoor area and put a lot of emphasis on outdoor play and activities, as well as learning about nature.

Our son has been in Jojo’s care since November 2023. It takes time for him to adjust to a new environment, but with Jojo’s immense patience and support, I can now see that he has become a more confident and independent toddler. What I love about Jojo is that she loves and respects all of the children equally and always communicates honestly and openly with us! I fully trust him to be in her care, and I will definitely leave another update review when he finishes his time at Hyacinth FDC. We love you, Jojo! <3
