Hyacinth Family Day Care

Hi, I’m Vijitra, but most people call me Jojo. My Family Day Care is based in Asquith.

I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and I truly enjoy caring for children. I have been operating Hyacinth Family Day Care for over 10 years — I started it so I could look after my own son while also providing care for other children in a home setting.

We mainly speak English at home, and I encourage my son to use some Thai as well. I enjoy teaching the children a few simple Thai words – it’s a fun little extra they seem to pick up easily.

My goal is to create a warm, safe and stimulating space where children feel secure and at ease, like it’s their second home.

I believe play is the best way for children to learn, so I provide a variety of activities and resources each day. We have a large, safe outdoor area and spend plenty of time outside – playing, exploring nature and enjoying fresh air.

Parents are very welcome to call at any time to book a tour. Feel free to come by, have a look around, meet me and see how things work here – I’m happy to arrange it whenever suits you.
