About Highton Child Care & Development Centre
Highton Child Care & Development Centre is a family-owned and operated centre, celebrating our 27th year of caring for children in 2023. We offer long-day care for children aged 3 months – 6 years, and a funded 3-Year-Old & 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program. We are open from 7am-6pm (Monday – Friday).
Our centre has been custom-built to cater for 71 children, across our Nursery, Toddler, and Kindergarten rooms.
We to provide each child with a caring, safe, secure, and nurturing environment in which they can grow and flourish.

My child started there in June 2024. Some things were good, some staff were nice, other staff were quite passive aggressive. But our child was fed and nappies were changed so we thought we’d give it a chance. Our child kept on being unhappy there, not sure why, but the educators kept telling us our child was unsettled there. We changed daycare and our child has flourished straight away at her new daycare and been very happy since, the educators also have showed a lot more care towards us and our child.

Highly recommend Highton childcare and development. They have been amazing for my special needs child. From starting in the nursery room to now in kindergarten, there has just always been so much understanding and support from all the educators and management. Even my child's OT and speech say they love coming to the centre because it's so calm and organised, and the kids are always just having so much fun.
