About Heritage House Pennant Hills Childcare & Learning Centre

Heritage House Pennant Hills opened in September 2007. It is a purpose built childcare centre that is bright and airy with ample room for learning, exploration and play. There is a high level of parent and community involvement at the centre with collaboration in the design of programs and in sharing social occasions.

Our centre thrives on a dedicated team of early childhood educators who have worked together in receiving a national quality standards rating of exceeding in all 7 areas of assessment, that are important for children’s learning and development. We offer programs that help prepare children for their formative schooling years ahead. As a quality education and care facility we implement the guidelines of the Early Years Learning Framework and include the three pillars of being, becoming and belonging into each child’s day.

My son started daycare at this centre from Jan 18. He was 2 yr 2 months. I was very anxious and my son was upset. The way they settled him and they way they settled me, I have no guilt in leaving him there and going to work. In-fact, i am so happy he goes there. The ladies there are wonderful. They take care such good care. They made sure he was fed when he couldn't figure out how to eat. I see how they comfort a new child. They do not leave them to cry it out. In the 9 months he has been spending here I have seen him flourish into a happy, vivacious toddler. All the games they have, the classes that they allow at the centre (we do not spend time on the weekends driving him to sports and dance classes), all the incursions they have (farm animals, native animals, african musicians, guide dog, reptiles...), they tickle my son's curiosity and encourage him to reach his milestones (saying 'Please', 'Thank You', wearing/removing his shoes). God bless the ladies there. My son will continue here till he moves on to primary school.

Very friendly staff and director. They paid special attention to my child when he first started in this childcare. They also have lots of incursions such as the farm animals which my child benefited and enjoyed a lot.
