About Happy Hours Family Day Care
Welcome to Happy Hours Family Day Care
I have over 15 years of experience as a family day care educator who is comfortable caring for children of all ages. I have an affinity with children and enjoy their company and am genuinely interested in their wellbeing and development. I believe my role is to try to be an extension of the child's parents- respecting their beliefs and practices at all times as well as providing a warm, loving, fun, imaginative, calm and nurturing environment for the child. Happy Hours FDC is a little cottage that is set up entirely for the use of the children with a focus on their safety, health and wellbeing. The educational program and practice is devoted to play-based learning which is guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework as well as with collaborative partnerships with families in a holistic manner.
