About Guardian Watsonia Childcare and Education

Welcome to Guardian Watsonia Childcare and Education!

Aspire to be … bold, curious, creative

Guardian is much more than a place of childcare and learning. It is a place where children feel safe and secure to be themselves. A place where children can be curious, imaginative and brave in their learning We create an environment that supports children with the best possible start to life.

We believe that if we focus our enormous passion on the care and education of young children, then these children will leave us with the capacity for a lifelong interest in learning, enhancing their personal development and the contribution they make to the world of tomorrow.

  • 100% of profits are re-invested back into our Centres and Teams to deliver the best early childhood education experience in Australia.
  • We’re proud to say that 94% of our Centres meet or exceed the National Quality Standard.
  • We have modern Centres in key locations across metro NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD and SA that provide care and education to more than 10,000 children each day.

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

Today was my first day at Watsonia Guardian as I was transferred by management at my other centre (temporarily). The staff at this centre is so organised, very welcoming, and friendly which it made me feel so comfortable and welcome stepping into a new environment. Thank you to all the staff for making me feel welcome and greeting me through the doors with a smile. I’m really looking forward to working alongside all of you for the next couple of months ☺️

Couldn’t be happier with how this centre continues to look after our two girls. We have been with the centre now for over four years and they have always taken care of our kids extremely well and we the girls are so happy every time we come to pick them up.

Both my boys have been attending Guardian Watsonia for over two years now. The atmosphere of the environment and the team has been a positive experience for both my children and our family. The communication from the Centre Manger Courtney is always supportive and she really knows every single child that comes through her doors. Couldn't recommend Watsonia anymore :)

Response from the ownerabout 2 months ago

Thanks Joshua! We’re so happy to hear that both your boys have had such a positive experience with us. Creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for children and their families is at the heart of what we do, and it’s wonderful to know that it’s made a difference for yours. Courtney will be especially touched by your mention — she’s truly dedicated to knowing and supporting every child in our care, and your recognition means a lot. We’re so grateful to have your family as part of our community, and we look forward to many more great moments together!
