Welcome to our newly refurbished Guardian Childcare & Education Truganina, a purpose-built child care centre in South-West Melbourne. With a strong focus on safety and wellbeing, we’re proud to be a trusted choice for safe childcare.

Guardian’s exclusive To BE Me program creates a unique learning adventure for every child. It demonstrates clearly how play connects to learning and development, offering families new insights and a lifelong record of these important years.

Our nurturing Nursery spaces are designed to help babies settle quickly, giving families comfort and confidence. Our Baby Ambassador will get to know your child’s personality, preferences and routines.

By focusing on Nutrition for Life, Guardian gives families peace of mind, knowing their children are developing habits that can set them up for a future of exposure to different foods, good eating patterns and healthy eating. Our qualified cook / chef provides 5 healthy foods every day from our in-house kitchen.

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week for three year olds and 16-25 hours a week for four year olds. This support is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy and can help to lower the out-of-pocket fees for children attending the centre’s long day care kindergarten program. As a working mum, one of the most important things you want when you leave your child in someone else’s care is peace of mind. For me, that is exactly what I found at Guardian Truganina. When I first started sending my daughter, Amira, I naturally had mixed emotions about leaving her while I was at work. Sukhi was incredibly supportive throughout the transition, not only helping Amira settle in but also giving me the reassurance and confidence I needed as a mum. Her care, patience and understanding made such a meaningful difference during those early days. I would also like to sincerely thank Susie and Nilu, whose ongoing support, care and dedication have helped build and strengthen that trust. Knowing that your child is genuinely cared for, supported and happy while you are at work is something that is truly priceless. Sending Amira to Guardian Truganina has honestly been one of the best decisions I have made for her. I am so grateful to the entire team for creating a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment where both children and parents feel supported.
