About Guardian Childcare & Education Pymble

Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Pymble, a spacious and inviting centre, with childhood education programs focused on play-based learning. Our newly refurbished Pymble day care and child care centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age, supporting them to discover the world in a safe and secure way.

Our Pymble child care centre has an ‘Exceeding’ rating and is conveniently situated for families living in and near the surrounding suburbs of West Pymble, Turramurra, Gordon, St Ives, and Killara. We won the 2023 Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Local Business awards and we have been recently named a finalist for the 2025 edition!

Our Pymble long day care centre offers:

Quality learning programs such as Joy of Reading, Cooking and Sustainability
Extensive outdoor space for children to explore
On-site Chef providing fresh snacks and meals daily
Highly experienced Educators and degree-qualified Teachers
Nappies, SPF 50+ sunscreen, high-quality formula and bed linen provided
Extended hours of care each weekday from 7.00am to 6.30pm

The NSW Government offers funding to subsidise the cost of preschool in long day care. For 3-year-old’s this is between $423-$769 and for 4-year-olds between $1,783-$2,563. This support is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy and can help to lower your out-of-pocket fees. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

My 5 yo boy has been attending Guardian Pymble since he was still 5 months old baby. The educators have all been all wonderful especially Ting, Ashmita, Helen and Caroline who all doted on my boy when he was in the nursery (he walked late so he had to be cuddled and carried around a lot), and Thea, Sam, Liz and Mickey who kept him very engaged in his toddler/preschool years. Centre managers Margaret and Dani are also very kind and considerate with our small requests. As a mum working full-time, I really value the care and nurturing they gave my child in his early years and the peace of mind they provided me. Bittersweet that we are leaving the centre soon as my child start big school next year.
