About Guardian Childcare & Education Point Cook South

Guardian Childcare & Education Point Cook South is a recently refurbished, light-filled and homely Childcare Centre with a range of spacious indoor and outdoor areas designed to inspire curiosity and exploration.

The Point Cook early learning Centre boasts three custom-designed yards with vegetable gardens, fruit trees, mud pits, a wooden tepee, natural play structures and a range of other age-specific play areas.

Children are supported through those important early years to explore and develop their social and emotional skills through their early learning journey by a dedicated team of university-qualified Teachers and Educators. They create learning experiences in a nurturing environment that fosters creativity and imagination.

Our Educators understand the importance of building strong relationships with families to provide a secure learning environment for all children across each age group. They support and encourage children to learn problem-solving and develop self-confidence and social skills based on genuine care and high-quality learning environments.

Our on-site cook prepares fresh meals in the Centre every day, using seasonal ingredients often collected by the children from our on-site vegetable and herb gardens. The Centre also hosts regular hands-on cooking classes for the children, which extends their understanding of where food comes from and how to establish healthy habits for life.

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program.Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

As first-time parents, we were quite anxious about choosing the right childcare centre. We visited many, but from the moment we entered the centre and met centre manager Pree , we felt so welcomed and reassured. She truly understood our concerns and made us feel relaxed and confident in our decision. Our little one has settled in beautifully, and the educators are fantastic. They communicate with us regularly, and we always receive updates about our child’s day, especially around meals and routines. The centre is always clean and well-organised, which gives us great peace of mind. If you’re looking for a childcare centre where your child’s safety, wellbeing, and happiness are top priority, we highly recommend visiting. Thank you, Pree and team, for taking such wonderful care of our little boy!

At a time when I was feeling overwhelmed and stressed, struggling to find a centre for my final placement, a simple phone call changed everything. I called Guardian Point Cook South, and Pree answered the phone with such warmth and positivity. Without hesitation, she offered me the opportunity I had been hoping for. I will forever be grateful for that moment it meant the world to me. I was placed in Beena’s room, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had her as my mentor. Beena is a professional, knowledgeable, and kind-hearted educator who guided me with so much patience and care. I’ve learned so much from her, not just about teaching, but about being present, thoughtful, and gentle with children. Throughout my placement, I was touched by the kindness of everyone at the centre. Every educator I met made me feel welcomed and supported. A special mention to Shruti, the other Kinder room leader, who generously shared her valuable knowledge and insights with me her support was truly appreciated. I also want to thank Erum, Afroza whose ever-present smile and friendly nature made every day brighter. To each and every one of you thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve made my 30-day placement a beautiful and unforgettable experience. I will always carry these memories with me.
