About Guardian Childcare & Education Point Cook North

Guardian Childcare & Education Point Cook North offers children aged 6 weeks to 6 years a nurturing and caring environment to support their growth and development. The educators use a fun-filled learning approach that helps the children develop the skills they need for a lifelong love of learning.

The newly refurbished large indoor space has the children's work proudly displayed on the walls, allowing them to showcase their individual interests and strengths. The children are encouraged to explore different activities throughout the day and have a choice of many resources and activities to keep them busy. Painting, blocks, reading and arts and crafts all support the children's learning through fun.

With new lower fees & enhanced CCS benefits it’s the perfect time to join our centre & nurturing community.

The children have access to an inviting covered outdoor yard and can roam freely, play, run, and jump in the open spaces. Whether practising their balancing along the wooden balance beams, taking care of the gardens, or playing in the sandpits, the children can take risks in a safe environment.

  • The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

Guardian Point Cook North is truly the best childcare centre in the area with positive vibes! It’s not just a place where children are cared for — it’s a centre built around education, growth, and genuine connection. From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth, professionalism, and dedication of the entire team. The educators go above and beyond to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children are encouraged to be curious, confident, and lifelong learners. The focus is not only on routines, but on meaningful learning experiences that nurture every child’s development. What stands out is the consistency within the team, providing children with familiar faces and stable relationships, which supports their sense of security and belonging. The centre maintains strong connections with neighbourhood schools, ensuring smooth transitions for children as they progress in their educational journey. The leadership team is supportive and responsive, and communication with families is always clear and respectful. We love the way educators build strong relationships with both children and parents, making the transition smooth and positive. The centre’s active involvement in the local community strengthens the children’s sense of belonging and connection beyond the centre walls. If you’re looking for a centre that values education, community, consistency, and the unique potential of every child — Guardian Point Cook North is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Guardian Point Cook North is a great place for children. As someone in education, I have high standards for the types of activities and learning opportunities for my child and the Staff at Guardian haven’t disappointed. Before enrolling my daughter, in fact before the tour, I was about to witness how some of the staff interact with children without them knowing who I was. I saw Becky offer help to a young child in the yard who had just started crying – her response time was under 1 minute. Becky assessed the situation that quickly and as a parent that immediately made me feel confident in the centre. Since being at Guardian my daughter has had Becky, Lili, Sam, Ritu, Melba and Ayesha and all these lovely ladies haven’t disappointed. The activities they carefully plan are fun and engaging – I can tell my daughter loves them with the beautiful smiling photos on Story Park daily. All of these ladies have provided clear handover at the end of the day and listen to any requests or concerns. In the morning, at drop-off staff who don’t work in my daughters room, greet her by name and it is obvious that they know her and she is comfortable with them. Phuong is often present in the morning during drop off and the whether in the room or in the hallway she always makes an effort to say good morning to my child and check in with how she is going. It’s reassuring as a parent to see my child smile and obviously feel like she belongs even if is tries to hide the smile from Phuong. We really appreciate how much easier the morning are with all the support of staff and the work they do to help transition the kids in on the bad mornings. Joy, who is in the Kinder room, brings a bright and bubbly energy to the centre and has an amazing caring nature with the children. If you want your child to feel connected to a community and be ready for school, Joy is the kind of person you want. As a teacher, I love the little things that she embeds in her room to help the children get ready for school. All the staff members at Guardian Point Cook North are clearly visible and consistently engaged with the children.

Thank you Sara for taking the time to share such a beautiful and detailed review. Your words truly warmed our hearts. It means a great deal to us—especially knowing you come from an education background—that you hold our team in such high regard. We’re so glad you had the chance to witness Becky’s care and responsiveness even before your tour. That moment you described is exactly the kind of connection we strive to build with every child. Hearing how your daughter has flourished with the support of Becky, Lili, Sam, Ritu, Melba, Ayesha, and the rest of our team is incredibly rewarding. We love seeing her smile each day, and it’s wonderful to know that the activities we plan are resonating with her (and with you through Storypark!). Your kind words about Phuong’s morning check-ins and Joy’s vibrant presence in the Kinder room truly touched us. These little moments of connection are what make our community feel like a second home, and we’re so happy your daughter feels that sense of belonging—even when she tries to hide her smile! Thank you again for your trust, your encouragement, and for being such a valued part of our family. We’re so grateful to be part of your daughter’s early learning journey.

The centre has a clean, welcoming vibe, and the staff is dedicated. Savi, the Assistant Centre Manager, is incredibly dedicated to making constant improvements, creating a positive environment for everyone. You can see her commitment in the improvements around the centre, and she is always accommodating to any requests and takes the time to discuss and address any doubts or concerns you may have. Joy, Sahar, Sarah, Sally, Harpreet, Preeti are great educators and make a good team who we interact and are doing an amazing job. They not only teach the kids new things but also encourage their curiosity, self-confidence, and love for learning. It's clear that they care about each child's growth and development. I also appreciate the staff consistency here – it gives me peace of mind knowing the same familiar faces are always around, which is a rare and reassuring quality in childcare.
