About Guardian Childcare & Education Oakleigh East
Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Oakleigh East, a modern, inviting childcare centre in south-east Melbourne.At our Oakleigh East early learning Centre,early childhood education programs are focused on play-based learning, and we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age,supporting them to discover the world in a safe and secure way.

Our Oakleigh East child care centre is conveniently located for families in Oakleigh and the nearby suburbs of Huntingdale, Chadstone, and Clayton. The centre is focused on creating an environment where children can learn through play. Our early education programs are designed to support physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development, tailored to each age group.
Our Oakleigh East childcare centre offers:
- Quality learning programs such as Joy of Reading, Cooking and Sustainability
- Expansive outdoor play spaces with four outdoor play areas with a wooden cubby house, herb and vegetable gardens, fruit trees and pet bunnies
- On-site Chef providing fresh snacks and meals daily
- Nappies, SPF 50+ sunscreen, high-quality formula and bed linen provided
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week,in addition to the Childcare Subsidy.The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program.Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

Our child has been in the toddler room for three months now, and we are continually impressed with the care and education she receives. The transition was so smooth, and that's all thanks to the incredible educators in the toddler room. They are so warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Our daughter has formed such strong bonds with them and looks forward to meet them every day. We love seeing the photos and updates on the app, which show her happily engaged in a wide variety of activities. The center manager and the entire team are also fantastic. The communication is excellent, and it's clear they have a true commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all the children. We feel completely confident and at ease leaving our daughter in their care. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Guardian Oakleigh East and highly recommend it to any family looking for a childcare center.
