Guardian Childcare & Education Mentone East

Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Mentone East! Our spacious, bright and modern early learning centre in Mentone East provides a stimulating environment and leading early childhood education programs for children aged six weeks to six years of age to discover the world in a safe and secure way.

At our daycare in Mentone East, our outdoor space features native trees, herb and vegetable gardens, creek beds, water play areas, and a range of age-specific spaces where our learning programs come to life. Children get out and about on regular excursions into the local community, including Mentone Reserve, which the children fondly refer to as the ‘Duck Park’, and is within walking distance from the Centre.

Our Mentone East childcare centre offers:

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy.The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program.Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

Families will also be able to keep up to date with their child’s progress through our family communication app.This app is a direct way to discover deeper insights into what’s happening day-to-day with their children.
