About Guardian Childcare & Education Laurimar
Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Laurimar, a spacious and inviting centre, with childhood education programs focused on play-based learning. Our Laurimar day care and child care centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age, supporting them to discover the world in a safe and secure way.
Our Laurimar childcare centre offers:
- Quality learning programs such as Joy of Reading, Cooking and Sustainability
- Engaging indoor learning spaces full of quality educational resources
- Expansive outdoor play spaces with a large outdoor yard that includes a sprinkler, a wooden fort, purpose-built hills and tunnels, a worm farm, native plants, and a range of age-specific play areas.
- On-site Chef providing fresh snacks and meals daily
- Highly experienced Educators and degree-qualified Teachers
- Nappies, SPF 50+ sunscreen, a hat and bed linen provided
- Extended hours of care each weekday from 6:30am to 6:30pm
The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

I can not recommend Guardian Laurimar highly enough! My daughter has been attending for a year now and she loves it. The entire team are so warm and caring. She has the most beautiful relationship with her educators which makes drop offs so much easier than I thought they would be. I look forward to seeing what she has been up to for the day through Storypark and seeing how much she is enjoying her day.
