My kids have been attending Guardian at King Street for over three years. It’s a warm and nurturing centre with responsible and caring educators. Despite being located in the city, it still offers a decent outdoor play area. The spaces for babies, toddlers, and kindy-aged children are thoughtfully separated to provide a safe environment for the kids. We truly appreciate all the educators for their dedication and care.
Response from the owner20 days agoThank you Kira. It’s been such a joy watching your children grow with us over the past three years. Knowing that you feel supported and confident in the care we provide means so much to our whole team. We put a lot of thought into creating a safe and engaging environment for every age group, and it’s lovely to hear that this has made a difference for your family. We truly value the relationship we’ve built with you and your little ones—it’s families like yours that make our community so special.

Steer away from this unscrupulous company at all costs. We had to find a way to fix the problems they had caused us ourselves, reach out for help, and file a complaint with the Department of Education, ECD, just to get things solved. GC&E deliberately burdened us with their constant issues and problems with their service provider, QikKids. In the end, no decent and proper apologies; no remorse. Just straight-up heartless people who don’t deserve to be in a family-oriented business. The previous Centre Manager, Belinda is the worst — she doesn’t know how to communicate with parents, doesn’t respond promptly, has no follow-throughs, and has no updates [unless you make that extra effort to come to the centre just to get a proper response]. The new Centre Manager, Katrina, and the Portfolio Manager, Teresa, are of the same feather as well. Our experience with GC&E was a nightmare (esp. for first-time parents entering childcare). From the very beginning of our enrolment, it was countless headaches — from making a mistake on the details for our CCS, errors on our weekly invoices, and submitting the wrong data for our child’s kindy funding. This company is also great at making magic to our invoices — from adding a few dollars to deducting some from our credits. It’s almost a month since my son left but our remaining credits and bond were never returned.

Very supportive team and the educators are really involved with children having had a challenge with my son whether he would be unsettled when he first started ,they really helped him settle in and adjust which gave me peace and comfort knowing my child was in good hands, safe and supported emotionally He was happy ,involved and content which as a parent it's one of the things you look for especially when you are leaving your child in someone else's care.my son loves them and is always excited when to see them when he goes. Quality care is key and am really happy and blessed with the team for their good job and on going support not just for the kids but for parents as well, the center is clean promoting good hygiene as well

I don’t recommend this place. Two months after my son’s enrolment has ceased and they still continue to take money. I’m owed a fair bit. And no one has been considerate enough to contact me. The centre is poorly managed.
