About Guardian Childcare & Education Hornsby
Welcome to our newly refurbished Guardian Childcare & Education Hornsby, a modern, light-filled long daycare centre. Our childhood education programs are focused on play-based learning, where our spacious day care and child care centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age, supporting them to discover the world in a safe and secure way.
Our Hornsby day care and child care centre is conveniently situated for families living in surrounding suburbs such as Hornsby Heights, Asquith, Wahroonga, North Wahroonga and Waitara.
Our Hornsby childcare centre offers:
- Quality learning programs such as Joy of Reading, Cooking and Sustainability
- Engaging indoor learning spaces full of quality educational resources
- Expansive outdoor play spaces with vegetable gardens, a creek bed, bike track, sandpit and water pump!
- On-site Chef providing fresh snacks and meals daily
- Highly experienced Educators and degree-qualified Teachers
- Nappies, SPF 50+ sunscreen, high-quality formula and bed linen provided
- Extended hours of care each weekday from 7:00am to 6:30pm
Many of our Educators are fluent in a second language including Cantonese, Hindi, Mandarin and Persian.

The New South Wales Government offers funding to provide families fee relief of up to $2174 per child aged three and above, and up to $515 per year for children aged three. This support is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy and can help to lower your out-of-pocket fees. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

I absolutely love this daycare! It’s the third one my little one has attended, and it might just be the best so far. The team is incredibly organized and always engaging the kids in a variety of fun and stimulating activities. The staff are genuinely kind and friendly, and they truly care about the children’s well-being. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my little Lucca!

I’m so glad to have found a childcare that genuinely cares for my daughter. The whole team is super friendly and easy to talk to, and I always feel in the loop with the regular updates they provide. It’s clear they really know her and understand her needs, which means a lot to my partner and I. Communication with both me and my partner has been great from day one. We'd been looking for a care center for our bub before he turned 1, and The Guardian Hornsby impressed us on first sight. My son has been going here since he was 11 months old, and has "graduated" from the nursery room to the toddler room with utmost care, warmth, and patience from the lovely carers. They go out of the way to ensure a child's wellbeing. Here is where my son learnt to walk, run, and eventually - jump :) Here is where my son learnt to self-serve when it comes to eating. He's explored the world of art, music, and play. Here is where my son learnt to make friends and connections - in the most precious years of his life! Sophie and team are always accommodating to various demands (both from parents and the bubs), and they're receptive to feedback too. My son looks forward to going to daycare every day, where he has made a real bond with everyone - other kids and educators included ❤️ Thank you, thank you, and - thank you ❤️
