The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

Returning to Guardian Brighton has been a full-circle moment for me. I was an educator at the centre a couple of years ago. I only left because I moved interstate, but in all that time away, I never found another place quite like it. The warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shown here are truly unmatched. Now back as both a parent and educator, I’m reminded of just how special this community is. My two boys recently joined the centre, and their transition has been incredibly positive thanks to the care and dedication of the team. They’ve been welcomed with open arms and are thriving in a space where they feel safe, supported, seen, and genuinely cared for from day one. A heartfelt thank you to Yvonne, Laura, and the wonderful educators for the work they do each day. It’s a privilege to be part of this beautiful community once again.

Guardian Brighton has set the bar extremely high for what we expect in a day care. Our twins started their day care experience here at Guardian Brighton and, if we weren't moving, would have stayed at the centre long term. The professionalism, clear communication, patience and genuine care that manager Yvonne, Laura and all of the Koala room educators have shown to a first time family entering the day care world has been second to none. I cannot recommend Guardian Brighton strongly enough! My daughter was in nursery 2 and loved her educators like her family, and she absolutely flourished while attending this childcare. She was enrolled for 6 months, and participated in an amazing variety of arts and crafts and STEM activities, as well as doing weekly sports and music incursions. We have recently moved away and I am devastated - finding an equivalent childcare centre has turned out to be impossible.
