ABOUT GRY’S FAMILY DAY – THORNLANDS

Gry’s Family Day Care has been operating since 2016, previously located in WA, Gry recently located to Thornlands. Gry’s Family Day Care is registered through Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ) which is a not for profit organisation. Gry has been nominated in the FDCA  “Excellence in Family Day Care Awards” for 4 years running.  

Gry is committed to providing a safe, hygienic, educational and nurturing environment that promotes learning through play. Gry’s service delivers exceptional early years education and care in a thought-out and stimulating environment. Gry believes that children should feel respected and valued as well as being able to recognise and respect the feelings of others. Gry believes in working in partnership with families, educators, her scheme and industry professionals to explore the learning potential in every day events, routines and play so that children are provided with daily opportunities to learn. 

Gry recognises then responds to barriers to children achieving educational success. She challenges practices that contribute to inequities and she makes curriculum decisions that promote inclusion and participation of all children.
