Greenwith Early Learning and Kindergarten

I removed my son from this centre after my husband and I were unhappy with the care he was receiving there. The place was chaotic and the staff were overworked and they didn't seem to care or have time to care for the kids properly. When I came to pick my son up, he would run to me and couldn't wait to get out of there. It was concerning as he was a happy child and never clingy and he would cry if I tried to put him down so I could collect up his things, etc., as if I was going to leave him there longer. I'd offer him his water bottle and he'd drink furiously like he hadn't been offered water all day. On one pick up, I noticed a child on the floor crying hysterically and not one educator seemed to care or make any attempt to comfort the child. The last factor in moving him was the menu. It didn't seem very healthy and they don't offer a variety of breakfast choices nor a late afternoon snack. I didn't take the time to look around in the first instance and that was a big mistake. I recommend touring a few facilities and asking to see the menu, the daily routine, what app they use to communicate with you and what they actually put in the app for you to see. Keep your eyes open as you walk around and get a feel for the place. Does it feel organised and welcoming or dark and chaotic?
