About Great Beginnings Epping
We are conveniently located for families in or commuting through Epping, Wallan, Donnybrook, Mickleham, Lalor, Thomastown, Mill Park and Wollert.
We offer nurturing care and quality early education for children from 6 weeks to 6 years, with flexible hours (9, 10, 11, and 12-hour sessions) to suit busy families.
Our Learning Environments

- Nursery (0-2 years): A safe, nurturing environment for babies to explore with tailored sensory and social experiences.
- Toddler (2-3 years): Play-based learning encourages curiosity, confidence, and social skills.
- Kindergarten (3-6 years): A stimulating learning environment that prepares our children for school through our Enhanced Learning Program.
We’re proud to have qualified teachers and educators, supported by a team of national education experts, ensuring the highest quality childcare and early education.
Innovative Early Learning Programs
Our teachers deliver the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF or the national curriculum) through play-based learning that covers language, literacy, numeracy, STEM, social, and emotional development. Our program also includes:
- Rhythm and Movement for Self-Regulation (RAMSR), an evidence-based program developed by Queensland University of Technology to support children’s executive function and self-regulation.
- Environmental and social sustainability learning experiences.
- Personalised learning plans for each child.
- Local school connections.
We focus on strong family partnerships through regular learning and development conversations with your child’s lead educator, learning showcases, and in-centre family events. Our Xplor app provides real-time updates and learning summaries daily to keep you informed on your child’s journey.

Three years in, and we’re still very happy with this daycare! so much so that I felt it was time to update my review, as this centre truly deserves the praise. We’ve seen so many positive improvements in our child’s development, from cognitive skills to social behaviour and more. The educators are attentive, empathetic, and genuinely nurturing. They listen to our concerns and consistently focus on areas that need support, which gives us great peace of mind. What really stands out is how flexible and understanding the centre is toward families. Our requests have been heard and considered by the centre managers, which has truly helped accommodate our changing needs. We’re so grateful to be part of this community.

My child has been going to Great Beginnings Epping for almost two years and the team there have been consistently fantastic. All educators and staff care for and teach the kids with such passion and kindness. Our kid has thrived at the centre. Would 10/10 recommend this centre for to any parent.

Where do I begin Great beginnings Epping have been apart of our family since my oldest daughter was two years old I remember her first day I walked her in took her to her room she didn’t say goodbye she was off I walk out a mess but the educators reassured me everything would be fine she would be fine I was able to ring and check in on her they were very accomodating then my other daughter started and she was so excited cause she pretty much knew everybody so it was a very easy transition for everybody they treat my kids like their own I know my kids are happy and looked after now I’m really sad cause we are doing a big move so we have to say goodbye to the centre I can’t not thank them enough for everything they have truly become family thank you to Priya Maria shikha bubba Betty dipixa Nirasha Emily Ivy gabby and most of all the best cook ever Georgia we will miss you guys so much 🩷

My son has been going to this daycare since he was 7 months old. Everyone here goes above and beyond to make him comfortable and happy, especially when he can be a little emotional at drop off. All the educators are amazing but extra special shout out to Neenu, Surbhi, Georgia, and Priya for everything they do x
