About Great Beginnings Cranbourne North Long Daycare and Kindergarten
Welcome to Great Beginnings Cranbourne North. We're ideally located for families in Cranbourne North, Clyde North, Cranbourne East, Narre Warren South, Berwick and Pakenham.
Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
At Great Beginnings, we provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.
Our dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.
Getting school ready? We offer the 3 and 4-year-old Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.
We offer a great variety of learning experiences at Great Beginnings Cranbourne North including:
- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.
- Language Development Programs: Our centre offers language lessons to help children develop an understanding of different languages and cultures. Learning additional languages provides children with intellectual advantages.

My son has been attending Great Beginings since nursery in 2021 and I could not fault the team in any way. I feel at ease going to work knowing my son is safe, nurtured and cared for every single day. He honestly has become apart of the furniture there, I am sad to know next year will be the last year there!! Thank you so much to Sam and Tarn for running such a homely and comfortable space. Bec our first main educator from the nursery who just made our daycare journey from the beginning as smooth as could be! Lilian and Parminder, from the Junior Kinder Team for 2024, you have just been so amazing this entire year and successfully worked together and nailed toilet training!! Peleg, Dani, Jaz, Yogita, Megan, and Kate! Such amazing educators! Most of the children in my sons group have all been together since the beginning, which I think speaks volumes knowing they’ve grown up together throughout the years. The team are always hosting celebrations for special days and occasions, celebrating each of the kids birthdays, and are also inclusive to all nationalities and religions with cultural celebrations always happening. I just love everything about this team and I am so glad we chose you all for helping us. Could not recommend you all highly enough!

Great Beginnings Cranbourne North has been absolutely amazing! We moved our daughters here at the start of the year and have been nothing but impressed. Sam and Tarn are the most dedicated and friendly managers we’ve come across, and we love how they take the time to form their own special bonds with our girls. Our younger daughter is in the Junior Toddler room, and she adores her daily cuddles with Shabana, Soo, and Danielle. They make her days so enjoyable and are incredibly caring and attentive to all her needs. Our older daughter is in Senior Kinder, and Megan and Kate have been fantastic in helping her settle in after transitioning from her previous child care centre. They go above and beyond to accommodate her needs and ensure she feels happy and secure throughout the day. The food is also exceptional, thanks to Chef Michelle! We have one picky eater who always gets her Vegemite sandwich, while our other daughter loves trying all the great recipes. We couldn’t ask for a better centre to care for our girls and highly recommend Great Beginnings Cranbourne North to anyone looking for a warm and nurturing environment for their children

Our family cannot speak highly enough of Great Beginnings. They have cared for our daughter since she was just 9 months old, and now, at 3 years old, she has truly flourished under their care. The team at Great Beginnings is incredible. They provide a nurturing and safe environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We've watched our daughter develop confidence, independence, and strong social bonds with both the carers and her peers. Shabana and Suma hold a very special place in our daughter’s heart. Their kindness and dedication have made such a positive impact on her life. Manager Sam and Tarn are also always there to support the children and parents, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that makes us feel like part of a family. We are so grateful for everything the team at Great Beginnings does and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any parent looking for exceptional childcare!
